Instead of the audience enjoying the climax of the trick they are distracted by the signature and feel the need to scramble for the card to check the signature. When the card is signed the moment of magic at the final restoration is lost. I have discussed this matter in great detail with Eugene Burger and we are both of the same opinion. I did not include it in this clip because as I said the that was not the purpose of me posting it.Ħ66- I am afraid I am going to have to disagree with you. Ted, I have very good and logical reason for using this particular song and this version of it and the reasons are explained in the monologue before the trick is performed. I can assure you that after literally hundreds of performances in front of live audiences I am not in the slightest bit nervous. My character is that of a nervous love sick bumbler so I am glad you got a hint of that. Jim you are absolutely right- I hadn't noticed the rocking before and will work on that.įabio, I am glad you picked up on the nerves. I posted the clip because the song/routine has generated interest within the magic community and I wanted to lay claim to it so as to avoid any kind of "Shape of my Heart" scandal further down the line. I did not post the clip to generate feedback although I appreciate that on a public forum you are free to do as you wish.
